About the Role

As the Account Executive at Friendlier, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new clients to generate leads and close deals. Reporting to the VP, Sales you will be assigned a territory for which you are responsible.


Location: Edmonton or Calgary - Remote 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales in the Greater Calgary and Greater Edmonton markets through referrals, leads and effective outreach in concert with our Partners and our marketing team.

  • Meet with potential clients to sell the Friendlier solution, thereby growing the revenue in your territory.

  • Engage in a collaborative selling environment while focused on the mission and your prospective customers.

  • Use Hubspot extensively to track sales pipeline conversions, deal flow, relationships with clients and various other sales KPIs.

  • Maintain relationships with clients and assist with the onboarding process to the Friendlier system.

  • Attend onsite visits to potential clients in each Metropolitan area. 

  • Work closely with new accounts to launch them onto the Friendlier program, including in person meetings and launches. 

What you Bring: 

  • Solid understanding of basic selling principles.  

  • Experience creating and planning effective engagement strategies.

  • Critical thinking to solve problems within the team.

  • Successful BDR experience in a structured environment, as this is ideal for candidates looking for the “next step” into a sales role.

  • Experience working in a  CRM environment is ideal (Hubspot, Salesforce etc.)

  • Strong interest in and aptitude for developing professional skills in a high growth environment.

  • Ability to drive to onsite clients and customers when needed

  • Post secondary education in a relevant field is preferred
